About me
I retired from teaching in 2021, with thirty years’ experience in education (9 yrs-bilingual/ESL teacher, 17 yrs-Instructional Technology Specialist, and 4 yrs-MS CS teacher). I served as the vice president of CSTA Greater Houston for four years (still a member/leader).Upon retiring, I was asked to consider a regional support position, a great opportunity to continue supporting CS integration. Serving the central region chapters allows me to provide support and assistance wherever needed. It’s an honor to work with my central region chapters.When not helping my chapters, or pursuing every opportunity to get involved with promoting computer science in my home state of Texas, I'm a soccer nerd, movie and music fan, and proud dad to my son and daughter. The rest of the time, I'm usually chasing my Dutch Shepherd mix, Beth, around the neighborhood.
